I’m an illustrator and author currently developing my first picture book. I’ve always been fascinated by how art can tell a story and evoke emotion all within a single image.

By trade, I’m a librarian with degrees in education and art. I work in both digital and traditional media, with a particular fondness for expressive linework.

I serve as the Regional Advisor for the Long Island chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), where I work with a team of volunteers to support the creation of quality children’s books. I’m also a proud member of the Children’s Book Illustrators Group.

My top five favorite things to draw are dinosaurs, space, children, dinosaurs in space with children—and, of course, space chickens.
